Scid

Since the average mac user has no idea about building from source code, I'm making available Scid as a universal application (you can find the source and executables for other platforms at the Scid project web site):

Read the change log for more info.

If you are a Tiger user you'll have to build Scid from source, read the instructions and drop me an email if you find any difficulty.

NOTE: If you are upgrading from Scid 3.x to 4.x, make a back-up of your databases before opening them on Scid 4.0, just in case you want to go back. Your old bases will be converted automatically, however, it is not possible to revert them back to Scid 3 format. Version 4 databases use a new set of file extensions: si4, sg4 and sn4.

You can get the source, photos file and other extras from the Scid project site .

Franz Nagl builds the spelling and ratings files, download the latest files from his website .

Send a message to the Scid list if you have any trouble or have found a bug.
